If you have a power cut you should call 105 – where you can be connected to a local adviser.
The number, which is free to call in England, Scotland and Wales, can be called from most landlines and mobiles.
You should also call the number if you see things such as damaged electricity infrastructure: such as damage to substations or power lines that could put you or others at risk of harm.
If there is an immediate risk, you should also call the emergency services.
