A50 partially blocked following accident at roundabout

The A50 is partially blocked in North Staffordshire following a collision at Blythe Bridge roundabout.

There is queueing traffic due to the accident at  the roundabout with the A521 (Blythe Bridge Roundabout /Draycott in the Moors).

Inrix, the traffic data company, says this is affecting all approaches to the roundabout, with sensors suggesting the accident has occurred near the eastbound entry slip from the A50 onto the roundabout.

We have no further information about the accident itself at the current time.
