Accident on A50 involving car and lorry in Stoke-on-Trent



The A50 is partially blocked in Stoke-on-Trent this evening following a collision involving a car and a lorry.

The eastbound carriageway is partly blocked due to the accident at A5007 (Normacot) which was first reported at around 6.50pm today (Tuesday, November 17).

Eyewitnesses and Inrix, the traffic data company, report traffic is queuing in the area.

Readers are also reporting that traffic is queueing towards the Longton slip road.

An Inrix spokesman said: “A50 Eastbound partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident, a lorry and a car involved at A5007 (Normacot).

“Affecting traffic between Stoke and Blythe Bridge.”
