‘Adama Traore is crying’ – Stoke City fans react to Wolves Carabao Cup draw

Stoke City will face Wolves in the second round of the Carabao Cup after the draw was made earlier today.

The Potters scraped through in the last round by beating Blackpool on penalties, but will be hoping for a much better performance at Molineux.

It will be the first ever time the sides have faced each other in the League Cup and Stoke’s first trip to Wolves since December 2011.

That was  a match best remembered for Jonathan Woodgate ending an experiment at right-back after just 19 minutes when Stoke went on to win 2-1.

We took to Twitter to see what the fans had to say about the draw and here’s what they had to say.

George: “Obi bagging a goal whilst Adama Traore is crying cuz he can’t get past Danny Batth.”

David Keen: “The Staffordshire north v south. Fortunes have changed but there is something happening in the northern end.”

Frosty: “Ah well, we’ll be better to concentrate on the league anyway.”

Martin Eagles: “The Danny Batth Derby.”

Stokerman: “Let us fear not. Mikel and Allen are with us.”

Harry: “Easy work.”

Bush Baby: “Rubbish that – fancied a big club.”
