Air ambulance lands in Stoke-on-Trent field after being called to medical emergency
A woman has been taken to hospital after an air ambulance landed in Stoke-on-Trent this morning.
The helicopter landed off Pipers View, Meir, at around noon today.
A number of StokeonTrentLive readers got in touch after seeing the helicopter landing earlier today.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 11.46 this morning to a medical emergency.
“Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Staffordshire attended.”

“We treated one patient, a woman. She was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital by land ambulance.”
