There have been another 662 coronavirus cases in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire confirmed over the last 24 hours.
In Stoke-on-Trent there have been an extra 208 positive coronavirus cases as of 4pm today (November 13).
It means there have now been 6,624 positive Covid-19 tests since the start of the pandemic in March.
In the Staffordshire County Council area there have been an additional 454 positive cases.
This means there have now been a total of 19,055 positive tests to date.
Across the county border in Cheshire East there have been 125 new Covid-19 tests bringing the total to 7,771.
In the United Kingdom there have been 27,301 tests today meaning a total of 1,317,496 cases.
Another 376 people have passed away within 28 days of receiving a positive coronavirus case bringing the total death toll to 51,304. While 61,648 people have had coronavirus recorded on their death certificates.
Confirmed Covid-19 cases by area as of November 13:
- Staffordshire County (all Staffordshire authorities – including those in the south of the county – excluding Stoke-on-Trent): 19,055 (up 454 from yesterday)
- Cheshire East: 7,771 (up 125 from yesterday)
