Three women are tonight in police custody after a mass disorder broke out on a Stoke-on-Trent street.
The full nature of the incident is yet to be revealed by police tonight confirmed they were called to Waterloo Road, Cobridge, shortly after 3pm.
Eyewitnesses reportedly saw up to 10 police cars at the scene including the Staffordshire Police Dogs and Armed Response Unit, and the police vans.
Three people have now been arrested as an investigation is underway

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We were called to Waterloo Road in Stoke-on-Trent shortly after 3pm this afternoon (Monday 1 June) to reports of a public order incident.
“Three women – aged between 18 and 56 and from Stoke-on-Trent – have been arrested.
“They remain in police custody and an investigation is underway.”
Police officers this evening remain at the scene.
