Biker taken to hospital for ‘potentially serious injuries’ after Stoke-on-Trent crash


A biker had to be rushed to hospital with ‘potentially serious injuries’ following a crash in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police and paramedics rushed to Newhouse Road, in Bucknall, following a crash involving a motorbike and a car at around 9.30pm on Friday (March 5).

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the scene of the accident.

Paramedics have now revealed a biker was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 9:28pm on Friday night to reports of an RTC involving a motorbike and car on Newhouse Road in Stoke on Trent.

“We sent one ambulance to the scene. Crews treated one man, the motorcyclist, for potentially serious injuries and he was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital on blue lights and sirens for further treatment.”
