Bookings being taken at Trentham Estate’s newest restaurant as menu released


Bookings for Trentham Estate’s newest restaurant are now being taken for outdoor dining when lockdown restrictions ease.

Spanish tapas restaurant Can Do Cocina has moved into the former David’s Brasserie unit and reservations are now available online on dates from April 12.

The independent restaurant and bar will serve a range of tapas, Spanish wines, beers and a selection of Mediterranean cocktails to be enjoyed outside in their covered and heated al fresco area.

Main meals on offer include Spanish roasted chicken for £9.95, 12oz ribeye steak for £18.95 and whole baked dorade for £16.95. There is also a range of tapas starting from £4.95 a dish and up to £6.95. #

Under the Government’s road map out of lockdown, restaurants and bars can reopen outdoor seating areas from April 12, subject to review.

Up to six people from different households, or two households, will be able to meet outdoors to drink or dine.

News of the new tapas restaurant coming to Trentham Estate has got people’s mouths watering.

Hannah Bradbury said: “I’m thinking walk around the gardens, followed by tapas and a bit of retail therapy when we can.”

Pete Taylor said: “Definitely trying here when things open up.”

Sandra Miller says she will be going to the restaurant with friends. She said: “Looks good for a girly catch up sometime.”

Charlotte Champ agreed. She said: “Another place for a girly night meal.”

Denis Jones said: “Can’t wait, I’m looking forward to more tapas.”
