Boy treated by paramedics after being hit by firework in Stoke-on-Trent



Paramedics treated a boy after he was hit by a firework in Stoke-on-Trent this morning.

The incident took place on Biddulph Road, Fegg Hayes, at around 8am today.

The boy was not seriously injured and was discharged at the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said:  “We were called at 8.15am this morning to reports of a patient who had been hit by a firework on Biddulph Road.

“We sent one ambulance to the scene.
