Arsonists have torched the front door of a house – just two weeks after the same property was targeted by brick-throwing yobs.
Staffordshire Police are investigating the incidents at the house on Thornley Road, Stanfield.
The vandal attack happened at 1.15am on Saturday, April 25 – followed by the arson attack at 12.15am on Sunday, May 10.
A police spokesman said: “Officers were called to a property on Thornley Road to reports that the front door had been set on fire. No-one was injured.
“Police had previously =been called to the property to reports that bricks had been thrown through a window. Our inquiries into the incidents are ongoing.”

Fire crews from Hanley and Sandyford attended the arson attack.
A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The fire was extinguished and no-one was injured.”
One resident said: “Someone tried to set fire to the door. There was black smoke up the door and the fire alarm was going off.”
It comes as a 65-year-old Thornley Road resident was last week arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker. She was later released without charge.
