A Staffordshire Moorlands road will be closed for five days next week while resurfacing work takes place.
Belle Vue Road in Leek will be closed between Garden Street and Mill Street from Monday November 9 until Friday November 13.
A traffic diversion will be in place via Mill Street, Garden Street and West Street.
In their road closure order Staffordshire County Council said: “Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council being the highway authority responsible for the repair and maintenance of Belle Vue and Belle Vue Road in Leek are satisfied that it is necessary to close the length of Belle Vue and Belle Vue Road from the junction of Garden Street to Mill Street for a period of five days but no more than five days from November 9 2020 because of the likelihood of danger to the public during carriageway repairs being undertaken by Staffordshire County Council.
“Access will be available for pedestrians and for vehicles being used in connection with the works and for emergency services vehicles or for vehicles requiring access to premises on the length of road which is closed.
