Cazoo To Donate Up To £25,000 To Charity

Charitable pledge for Cazoo Series

Cazoo, the UK’s leading online car retailer, which makes ordering a car as simple and seamless as buying any other product online, has announced that it will reward every century break in the Cazoo Series with £100 for charity, starting at the Cazoo Players Championship this week.

The ‘Cazoo Century’ initiative will also run at the Cazoo Tour Championship in March and Cazoo World Grand Prix in December and could raise up to £25,000 for World Snooker Tour’s charity Jessie May Children’s Hospice at Home, a Bristol-based charity providing nursing care at home for children and young people with life limiting conditions who are not expected to live beyond the age of 19.

Cazoo, who earlier this year signed a multi-year deal with the World Snooker Tour (WST) as the main sponsor of this trio of prestigious snooker events, also run similar goal related charitable initiatives through their Premier League football team sponsorships of Everton and Aston Villa.

Cazoo owns and fully reconditions all its cars before offering them on its website. Cazoo has thousands of cars available at any time for either delivery or collection in as little as 72 hours. Every Cazoo car comes with a full 7-day money back guarantee and a comprehensive 90-day warranty.

Cazoo is pioneering the shift to online car buying and, since its launch just over one year ago, has delivered almost 20,000 cars to consumers across the UK who have embraced the selection, transparency and convenience of buying high quality used cars entirely online.

Alex Chesterman OBE, Founder & CEO of Cazoo said, “We are delighted to support the Jessie May charity throughout the Cazoo Series this year. We’re looking forward to seeing lots of century breaks across all three events this year in a bid to hit that £25,000 goal. It’s all down to the players now!”

Chris Roys, CEO of Jessie May said, “This incredible support from Cazoo comes at a crucial time when families are struggling most. Fundraising provides a vital lifeline to life limited children and their families, and like most charities our fundraising has taken a significant knock over the last year. Learning that Cazoo have a similar ethos of delivering cars directly to the homes of their customers, they fit in perfectly with the service that we provide at Jessie May. The funds raised through the Cazoo Series will really help us to continue offering care and support to families in their own home.”
