Dealer, 44, caught with nearly £500 of Class A drugs hidden inside Kinder egg



Dealer Ronald Meek was caught with £500 worth of drugs hidden inside a Kinder egg.

The 44-year-old has pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply controlled Class A drugs.

It comes after he was arrested by officers in Fenton on May 16.

Meek, of Caroline Street, Longton, remains in custody and will be sentenced before Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court at a later date.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “A 44-year-old man from Longton has pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with the intent to supply controlled Class A drugs.

“Ronald Meek – of Caroline Street – was detained after good work by officers in Fenton on 16 May 2020.

“He was found with almost £500 worth of drugs on him – most of which had been hidden inside a Kinder egg. He’ll remain in custody until sentencing at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court at a date to be announced.”
