‘Disorder’ breaks out near popular Stoke-on-Trent pub



A ‘disorder’ reportedly broke out on a busy Stoke-on-Trent pub.

Eyewitnesses say two unmarked and two marked patrols cars were called to Hartshill Road, by The Noahs.

A ‘large group’ were seen running along the road moments before officers arrived.

One witness said: “A large group of people were seen running up Hartshill Road out of the pub.

“Later two unmarked cars with flashing lights and two marked cars turned up at the car park.”

Police officers confirmed they were called to Hartshill Road but on arrival, no one reported any injuries or assaults.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We were called to Hartshill Road in Hartshill to reports of a disorder.

“No one was identified as injured when we arrived. It had petered out.”
