A driver hurled two bricks through a car windows injuring its occupants.
The incident is believed to have happened earlier today in the Stoke-on-Trent North area – which includes Hanley, Burslem, and Tunstall.
While the brick-throwing yob drove off they were later flagged up to officers who were using automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras as part of Operation Lightning – a major road crime crackdown.
A man – who has not been identified – has now been arrested.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Following an Operation Lighting ANPR activation, Burslem specials have located and stopped this vehicle.
“The male driver was arrested for throwing two bricks through a car windows which injured the occupants in Stoke-on-Trent North.”
