A toilet has been dumped at a Stoke-on-Trent beauty spot in the latest shocking incident of fly-tipping.
One resident took a photo of the discarded loo at Smithpool Park in Fenton – commonly known as The Lido – before notifying the authorities.
It had been abandoned close to the Smithpool Road entrance.
Meanwhile, a wash basin has also been dumped in nearby Fenpark fields.
And other pictures show a pushchair, deck chair and other general rubbish has been left close to the water’s edge.
One furious resident was dismayed by the lack of respect for the area.
She told StokeonTrentLive: “It’s getting really bad around our area for fly-tipping.
“I’ve lived in Fenton for over 60 years and have never seen anything like it.
“We have a section of our society who don’t have any pride in where they live and it’s very sad.
“People need to report it more, I’ve never known it to be this bad.”

Another resident added: “It’s terrible, they have no respect for nature or the surrounding area.”
And a third added: “Disgusting humans, animals are cleaner than this.
“I love the Lido and regularly go for walks with my baby. I hate people making a mess of it. They have no respect at all.”
