Decisions on the future of Stoke City‘s season are expected to emerge from the EFL and its partners today.
On Wednesday night, a statement was released on behalf of the Premier League, EFL, Professional Footballers’ Association and League Managers’ Association.
Within it, the organisations underlined no decisions had been made, but meetings had been taking place and would continue to do so across the subsequent 48 hours.
The end of that window is this evening. Using their own timeline, that would suggest the Potters and other clubs should expect some form of decision or progress.
It seems unlikely there will be a full programme laid out for the resumption of the Championship, but rather an extension of the current suspension which lasts until April 30.
