Police officers have issued a warning for families to remain vigilant after a ‘suspicious Land Rover’ was seen in a North Staffordshire village.
Officers were called at around 4pm on Saturday, January 2, to reports a Land Rover was being driven in a suspicious manner around Farley Lane in Alton.
There is no current indication of why the caller thought the van was being driven in a suspicious way.
But police officers are asking families who see anything suspicious to come forward.
PCSO Rebecca Gorman from Staffordshire Police said: “At around 4pm on Saturday we received a report of suspicious black Land Rover Freelander in the area of Farley Lane, Alton.
“Please remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour via telephone 101, Facebook or Twitter.”
