Firefighters called after flames spotted in North Staffordshire garden



Firefighters were called to a North Staffordshire property after flames were seen in a garden.

A single crew from Biddulph were called to St John’s Road, in the Staffordshire Moorlands town, shortly after 10pm.

On arrival crews discovered a controlled garden fire.

A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “We were called to Biddulph at 10.08pm.

“It was a small fire in a garden and we sent one crew. They were in attendance for 10 minutes.”
