Police officers and firefighters were called to a Stoke-on-Trent street after smoke was seen spilling across the road.
Firefighters confirmed they were called to Brookland Avenue in Blurton shortly before 9pm last night (May 27).
Eyewitnesses say police officers also attended the street.
It comes just 24 hours after fire crews were spotted at the same road for what they described as a ‘controlled burning’.

A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “We were called to a property in Brookland Avenue in Blurton shortly after 9pm last night (Wednesday 27 May) to reports of a garden fire.
“A crew from Hanley attended – using a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.”
