Firefighters were called to a large fire next to a river embankment in Cheshire.
One crew from Congleton attended Royle Street, in the Cheshire town, shortly after 5pm today.
They spent 20 minutes at the sceme.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Shortly after 5pm firefighters were called to reports of a fire in the open in Royle Street, Congleton.
“On arrival the crew found a fire at the side of a river embankment measuring approximately eight metres by four metres.
“Firefighters used two hose reel jets to put out the fire and were in attendance for more than 20 minutes.”
