Firefighters rescue motorcyclist stuck in ditch following Boxing Day collision



Firefighters rescued a motorcyclist after they became trapped in a ditch following a collision on Boxing Day.

One fire engine from Crewe attended the scene on Dragons Lane, Sandbach, yesterday afternoon.

The rider was rescued from the ditch before being handed into the care of paramedics.

A Cheshire Fire Service and Rescue spokesman said: “Firefighters attended reports of a collision involving a motorcyclist.

“The rider had become stuck in a ditch on Dragons Lane.

“He was then handed into the care of paramedics.”
