Former Stoke City favourite Carl Dickinson has relieved his boredom – by pulling off a magnificent impression of Tony Pulis.
Dickinson, a memorable figure in Stoke’s 2008 promotion campaign under Pulis, has taken to twitter and has already got the thumbs up of old team-mates like Liam Lawrence and Rory Delap.
In a near perfect Welsh accent, though minus the obligatory baseball cap, he introduces himself as ‘Sir’ Tony Pulis and starts off by bellowing: “Right then, who wants some? Come on.
“All I want you to do is put the ball up to Mama (Sidibe), or give the ball to my mate Ric (Fuller), and he will win the game for me.
“You know, who else have I got?
“I’ve got Liam, he can whip a ball in.
“Cressy (Richard Cresswell), he’s still running, even though he retired 10 years ago.
“And we’ve got to hurry it up because Rory is about to throw it up Arsene Wenger’s end because Arsenal don’t like us.
And he’s promised to come up with some further impressions to keep us entertained.
