Four casualties taken to Royal Stoke after two-car smash



Four people had to be taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in North Staffordshire.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Lower Milehouse Lane, in Newcastle, at around 7.30pm on Saturday (July 31).

Two ambulances were sent to the scene.

Paramedics treated four patients before they were transported to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed all injuries sustained in the incident were minor.

She said: “We were called at 7.29pm on Saturday to reports of a two car RTC at the junction of Meadow Avenue and Lower Milehouse Lane in Newcastle.

“We sent two ambulances to the scene and treated four patients for minor injuries. All were conveyed to hospital for further assessment.”
