Four suspected drug dealers arrested in a car in Stoke-on-Trent

Four people have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after a car was stopped on the streets of Stoke-on-Trent.

The four people – who have not been identified – were pulled over by officers from the Staffordshire Police Dogs and Armed Response Vehicle unit.

Officers originally stopped the vehicle has part of ‘Operation Lightning’ – a campaign designed to clampdown on road crime.

The occupants were then arrested.

A Staffs Police Dogs and ARV spokesman said: “Officers in the Stoke-on-Trent area have stopped a vehicle and arrested four occupants for drug dealing this afternoon.

“Another great Operation Lightning result.”
