Fresh claim made about future of Stoke City’s £14m man Badou Ndiaye


Stoke City‘s £14m midfielder Badou Ndiaye is expected to return to the bet365 Stadium when his loan at Trabzonspor ends.

The 29-year-old Senegal international, who helped his country reach the Africa Cup of Nations final last summer, left the Potters for Turkey in January, on a loan deal until the end of the season.

It was with a view to a permanent switch to the Super Lig club – but it is being claimed by asistanaliz he will depart at the end of the campaign, and Trabzonspor are considering trying to replace him with Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher.

Ndiaye, who joined Stoke from Galatasaray in January 2018, has played nine games for Trabzonspor in the Turkish top flight, scoring one goal.

He recently underwent an operation to repair a small rupture in the outer meniscus of his left knee.
