Detectives leading a Stoke-on-Trent murder investigation will need to carry out further tests to find out what killed a 35-year-old woman.
Officers were called to East Terrace, Fegg Hayes, on Sunday, May 31, to reports a woman had been found dead at her home.
Cops launched a murder investigation and arrested a 32-year-old man, before releasing him pending further inquiries.
Today (June 8) officers revealed a post-morterm examination was unable to show what caused the woman’s death.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “A post mortem has taken place but further tests are required.
“The death continues to be treated as unexplained and detectives are investigating.”
Tributes to the woman have been left on the StokeonTrentLive Facebook page with flowers at the scene.
Claire Bould said: “I hope the family get some answers and can then start to grieve and comfort each other.”
Kayla Kilbride added: “She used to live across the road from me and was always so polite and nice. I’m thinking of your family and little boy.”
