The parents of three teenage vandals were urged to get their daughters indoors – after they went on the rampage around a town centre.
The youngsters – who are aged around 14 – were seen screaming and smashing bottles around Biddulph High Street on Wednesday night.
One of the bottles had earlier been used to hit the bonnet of a car.
Now residents are sharing information on social media in an attempt to identify the troublemakers.
The motorist, whose car was vandalised, warned: “There are three young girls walking around Biddulph town centre. If you have a daughter out now who is around the age of 14 then you better tell them to get in now.
“They’ve just smacked something on the bonnet of my car which turned out to be a bottle and then smashed it further down the road. Tell them to get home now before my Mrs gets hold of them.
“There’s only one way those kids are going.”
The vandals were seen on Wharf Road, High Street and Well Street.
One eye-witness said: “They were walking down the High Street screaming and smashing bottles. They shouted ‘what you staring at you stupid b****’.
“I wouldn’t normally walk off but they had broken bottles and it was appalling behaviour. They were just out for trouble and there will be CCTV of them at the bottom of Well Street.”
