Two fire engines from Crewe were called to Crewe Road in Wistaston shortly before 11pm yesterday (December 29).
The road had to be closed in both directions while crews, along with highways officers, dealt with an oil spill from the vehicle.
The driver was assessed by paramedics at the scene.
