Stoke City fans are being offered the chance to play Football Manager 2020 for free.
The makers of the popular game have announced a special offer in the wake of the coronavirus shutdown.
With the real football season suspended due to the global pandemic and many people confined to their homes, this could be a way for the Stoke faithful to fill a few free hours.
The offer runs from 3pm today (Wednesday) for a week – until 3pm next Wednesday (March 25).
The free access only applies to the PC/Mac game (on Steam) and if you wish to continue playing after March 25, you will need to buy the full game from Steam to ensure FM20 stays in your library.
If you already have a Steam account, getting access to the game is straightforward – all you have to do is head to the Football Manager 2020 page and hit the download button.
The game will then move to your library and will be fully playable until the free week ends.
If you don’t already have a Steam account, go to www.steampowered.com, click on ‘Install Steam’ and follow the instructions. Once Steam is installed and you’ve set up an account, the process is the same as above.
