Blackburn Rovers will have competition for Stoke City fringe man Liam Lindsay, according to The Sun.
Lindsay has not featured for Stoke since January and is expected to be on his way out this summer, a year after being brought in for £2m from Barnsley by Nathan Jones.
The 24-year-old had to be patient for game time at Stoke but had a run next to Danny Batth in the winter before the arrival of James Chester and emergence of Nathan Collins left him on the sidelines.
Blackburn’s interest became public earlier this month but now it is claimed that Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday are also keen on a loan deal.

“The Terriers lead the chase,” say The Sun.
Championship clubs will be limited to 25-man squads this season, in line with the Premier League.
Michael O’Neill has stressed the need to streamline his group regardless of that.
He said again yesterday: “We have a lot of bodies at the moment and we have to try to trim the squad. We have to try to get players out who are surplus to requirements.
“And we have to make sure that come September 12 we are ready to play, that’s the target.
“The Carabao Cup is important, of course it is, but ultimately our focus is on the league. We have to pick a team which is ready to play next week.”
