A fire investigation is taking place after firefighters tackled a blaze at a Stoke-on-Trent property.
Firefighters are investigating the cause of the inferno that started at a semi-detached property, in Blurton, shortly after midday (May 20).
Crews from Longton attended the scene on Waterside Drive.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service say the fire caused severe damage to rooms on the ground floor and smoke damage to rooms upstairs.
A spokesman said: “Crews from Longton are currently at the scene of a fire on Waterside Drive in Blurton.
“Four firefighters used breathing apparatus. There is severe fire damage to rooms on the ground floor and smoke damage to rooms upstairs.
“An investigation into the cause is on-going.”
