Investigation underway after fire at Stoke-on-Trent trailer manufacturer



An investigation is underway following a fire at trailer manufacturer in Stoke-on-Trent.

Firefighters were called to the blaze at Don-Bur, on Mossfield Road, Adderley Green, at around 6am this morning (January 15).

The fire was located in an electrical motor in the ducting area of a spray bay.

The blaze was extinguished and an investigation is now underway.

A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Fire fighters have now left the scene of a blaze at a factory in Adderley Green, Stoke-on-Trent.

“Crews were called to the fire at 6am to the factory on Mossfield Road.

“One crew from Longton and one from Hanley attended the scene, shortly followed by another two crews from both stations, including an aerial ladder platform.

“The fire was located in an electrical motor in the ducting area of a spray bay.

“Fire crews left the scene at 9.26am.

“An investigation is currently underway.”
