‘It’s an uncertain time for everyone’ – Trentham Monkey Forest to close for the ‘unforseeable future’



One of Staffordshire’s biggest tourist attractions is to close for the ‘unforseeable future’.

Trentham Monkey Forest closed today in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and in line with government guidelines.

Park Director Matt Lovatt said, “We want to do the right thing for staff, visitors and monkeys.

“Although we are an outdoor attraction with plenty of wide-open spaces, we feel this is the best step to ensure we protect the park from the developing situation.’’

“It’s an uncertain time for everyone and we will keep the public smiling with monkey updates across our social media pages, so for now this is the best place to get your monkey fix!
