Passed away peacefully at home West Street Congleton at the age of 93 on Monday 11th of May.

A very much loved family man and loving husband to the late Phoebe Elizabeth Boone. Father to John, Helen, Chris, Heather and Stephen and Grandfather to Francesca, Peter, Alexander, Elizabeth, Katharine, Helaina, Sebastian and Isabella.

John was an entrepreneur and started a family run engineering business that was founded in 1958. The service and interment will take place on Friday 29 May 2020 at Congleton Town Cemetery.

Suddenly on 19th May 2020 at her home in Cheadle, Maureen aged 75 years, the loved and devoted wife of Colin, much loved mum of Sarah, loved mother in law of Phil, treasured nan of Ben and Jackson, and a dear sister, sister in law and auntie.

It is with sadness that a service cannot take place at Maureen’s place of worship due to the current government regulations, instead a private service at the crematorium will take place with a memorial service announced at a later date.

On the 19th May 2020 at his home and with his loving family at his side, Gordon, aged 75 years, peacefully passed away.

LYNES Reg

We are sad to announce the passing of Reg Lynes, aged 93 and three quarters. Reg was a charming, cheeky and much loved father, grandfather and friend and will be forever in our hearts.

His exuberance for life and independent living (before dementia took hold), was wonderful to behold and an inspiration to those close to him.

Many thanks are extended to the staff at Good Hope Hospital and those at Asprey Court Care Home, Erdington, where he died peacefully on May 17th.
