The emergency services are on the scene and a major Stoke-on-Trent road has been blocked after a collision between a moped and a taxi.
Traffic monitoring service INRIX currently reports Ford Green Road in Smallthorne is currently blocked in both directions.
Eyewitnesses say the collision involved a moped and a taxi.
INRIX states: “Ford Green Road in both directions blocked, slow traffic due to accident, a car and a moped involved at Community Drive.”
One StokeonTrentLive reader reported the emergency services have moved the car to help resume the flow of traffic.
They said: “Taxi and bike accident on Smallthorne bank by Heron Foods. Traffic blocked coming down the bank because a bus can’t get through.
“Emergency services on the scene. Think they have moved the taxi to ease congestion.”
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed an ambulance is on the scene.
A spokesman said: “We were called at 8:20am to reports of a collision involving a car and motorbike on Ford Green Road in Stoke on Trent. We currently have one ambulance at the scene assessing one patient.”
