Man, 60s, taken to hospital after incident at Superdrug

A man in his 60s was taken to hospital after an incident at a popular Superdrug branch.

Paramedics were called to High Street in Congleton on Thursday morning following reports a patient was unwell.

It comes as the store was closed over the weekend while flowers and bereavement notices have been left outside.

A North West Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 11.27am on Thursday and took a man in his 60s to hospital.”
