Man charged after more than £20,000 of drugs found at Staffordshire address



Police have charged a man after cannabis and cocaine worth more than £20,000 were found at a Staffordshire property.

The drugs were found when police searched a property in the Rising Brook area of Stafford.

Now police in the county town have confirmed a man has been charged in connection with the find.

Michael Govinder Hayer has been remanded in custody to appear before the courts at a later date.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said:  “Officers have charged a male with possession with intent to supply following a search of an address in Rising Brook.

“Cannabis and cocaine was found at the address with a street value in excess of £20,000. Michael Govinder Hayer has been remanded in custody.”
