A man has been found dead after the emergency services smashed their way into a Stoke-on-Trent property.
Police officers were called to Hawes Street in Tunstall at around 1.45pm yesterday (August 17) to reports of a possible medical emergency.
Once inside the property officers called for paramedics to assist them on the scene.
West Midlands Ambulance Service arrived shortly later but confirmed nothing could be done to save the man.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 1.45pm to reports of a medical emergency in Hawes Street, Tunstall.
“We sent one ambulance to the scene and on arrival discovered a male patient.
“It quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
