A man has been found dead at a North Staffordshire house.
Emergency services were dispatched to Alexandra Road, May Bank, at 8.45am this morning.
Paramedics and an emergency doctor were among those attending the incident, but sadly nothing could be done to save the man.
He was confirmed dead at the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 8.38am to reports of a potential fatality in Alexandra Road.
“An ambulance, a paramedic officer and a BASICs doctor were sent to the scene.
“Unfortunately, it was quickly apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
A Staffordshire Police spokesman confirmed the death wasn’t being treated as suspicious.

He said: “Police were called just before 8.45am this morning (May 21) to Alexandra Road.
“A man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
