Man ‘pulled woman’s trousers down and exposed himself’ in Stoke-on-Trent sex attack

A man allegedly pulled a woman’s trousers down and exposed himself during a sex attack in a Stoke-on-Trent alleyway.

The victim, an 18-year-old woman, was approached by the attacker in alleyway off Barber Street, Burslem.

Fortunately the attacker was disturbed by another person in the alleyway and fled the scene on a dark-coloured BMX motorbike.

Now detectives are appealing for witnesses to the attempted sexual assault – that took place shortly after midnight on Sunday August 16.

A Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said:  “The man is described as Eastern European or Asian who has a foreign accent, aged in his mid to late 20s, approximately 5ft 9ins tall and of a skinny build.

“He has short dark hair with a short beard and wears round, thin-framed glasses. He was wearing black and white checked shorts, black zip-up jacket with white sleeves and a black baseball cap.
