A man was taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries in a dog attack at a house.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Manor Road North, Nantwich, just before 2pm yesterday afternoon.
Seven police vehicles and an ambulance attended the incident, reports Cheshire Live.
Officers remained at the scene for more than two hours following the incident while the man was transported to hospital for further treatment and the dog involved was secured.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At around 1.50pm on Tuesday, June 2, a report was received that a man had been attacked by a dog at an address on Manor Road North in Nantwich.

“Officers swiftly attended the scene and found a man with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
“The dog involved in the incident has been secured.”
No details on the type of dog involved or the condition of the man have been released.
