Masked flasher ‘pulls up in car and exposes himself to jogger’ outside North Staffordshire school



Police are hunting a masked flasher who pulled up in a car and exposed himself to a jogger close to a North Staffordshire school.

The victim was running down Woodhouse Lane in Biddulph when a silver Vauxhall Corsa pulled up on the pavement close to Woodhouse Academy.

As she went past, the driver flashed his private parts at around 6pm on Tuesday (January 8).

The suspect was described as mid-30s with fair hair and blue eyes and was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a mask.

Urging people to be cautious, a friend of the victim said: “Biddulph runners and walkers beware. My friend was out running on Tuesday evening.

“As she ran up Woodhouse Lane an old style, possibly 55 reg, silver Vauxhall Corsa pulled up on the pavement facing her.

“As she ran past the disgusting, vile creature in the car flashed her.

“This was only at 6pm, opposite the entrance to the school where it is street lit.

“The police have been informed. Please be vigilant, especially where your kids could be. There are some absolute weirdos out there.”

Staffordshire Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A spokesman said: “We’re appealing for information after a woman was out running when a man exposed himself to her in Biddulph.

“The incident happened in Woodhouse Lane in Biddulph on Tuesday evening at around 6pm.

“A man in a silver Vauxhall Corsa pulled up alongside her and exposed himself.

“He is described as white, mid 30s with fair hair, pale blue eyes, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.”
