A motorist is this morning in custody having blown twice the drink-drive limit after a crash on a North Staffordshire road.
Officers from the Staffordshire Police Response team attended the collision late last night (April 11).
They did not reveal where the accident took place.
But a 43-year-old male has been arrested.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “The driver of this vehicle, a 43 year old male, was arrested tonight for drink driving and having no insurance.
“He was over twice the legal drink drive limit.
“Thankfully, nobody was injured”
The legal drink-drive limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 ml of breath.
