Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorist drove off when a biker had to swerve to avoid crashing into their vehicle on a roundabout.
Officers were called to the scene at the Waterhayes roundabout near Cedar Road heading towards Audley at around 6.15am on Saturday.
The motorcyclist came off his bike and suffered a fractured ankle and other minor injuries before he was taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the other vehicle failed to stop at the scene and now police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident to get in touch.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Officers are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision.

“At approximately 6.15am on Saturday, June 6, a motorcyclist was travelling along Cedar Road towards Audley when he had to swerve to avoid another vehicle at the Waterhayes roundabout.
“It is not clear what direction this vehicle was travelling in but it did not stop after the motorcyclist fell from his bike.
“He suffered a fractured ankle and other minor injuries requiring hospital treatment. We’re asking for any witnesses to get in touch, quoting 237 of June 6.”
