Nerf wants to open Britain’s first £4.5m laser combat venue at Trafford Centre

Another top attraction is heading to the Trafford Centre – Britain’s first Nerf Action Experience zone.

Plans have been lodged to transform several units in the Trafford Centre, at Barton Square, into the £4.5m Nerf battleground and adventure attraction.

It will be spread over three first-floor units, with a mezzanine floor having enough room for a café and viewing platform.

The planning application states: “Nerf’s occupancy at Barton Square will be its first UK destination.”

It is hoped that the Nerf Action Xperience will ‘encourage dwell time within the shopping centre, attract levels of footfall and encourage linked trips’.
