With the football season on hold, Stoke City fans have been recalling some of their happiest memories from supporting the club.
We asked City fans for their happiest memories in their time supporting the club – and had some brilliant responses.
Some are recent, some slightly longer ago – but hopefully all will give Stoke supporters something to smile about during this difficult time.
Here’s what the Stoke faithful had to say when asked the question on our Facebook page.
Andrew Tunnicliffe: “At Wembley FA Cup final with my Dad even though we lost. The old man never thought he would see Stoke in the final there. Followed by the Semi Final against Bolton again I was with my old man.”
David Maydew: “Defo the semi final against Bolton…what a day, result, performance which produced tears from a lot of people on the day. Amazing…thanks Tony Pulis.”
Jon Shaw: “Standing at Wembley with my 8 year old son & friends watching the FA cup semi against Bolton.”
Steve Simcock: “Can’t decide between Premier League promotion, Cardiff win away in Play-Offs, Wembley semi v Bolton, beating Liverpool 6-1 or the Europa win in Split.”
Gary Burnett: “Wembley 1972. The excitement of beating Chelsea that day will never leave me.”
Tedand Jules Mccoy: “Beating Cardiff away in the 2nd leg of the play-offs. Brilliant night.”
Gaz Sutton: “Smashing Liverpool 6-1 happy days.”
