New year, new course…Keele University launches January start for foundation year programmes

Prospective students looking to broaden their horizons in 2021 can sign up for foundation year courses at Keele University.

The university will be launching a January intake for the first time, with a range of subjects on offer.

Foundation years provide an alternative route into higher education and particularly suit career changers and mature students from non-traditional backgrounds. Through this option, they can progress on to honours degrees.

The new January intake include courses in science, humanities, social sciences and business.

Robbie Pickles, director of global student recruitment and admissions, said: “This new entry route is a natural extension of Keele’s proud tradition of flexibly supporting prospective students to progress into higher education.

“Its creation is a positive reflection of the dedication shown by staff to ensure as many people as possible, in a challenging year globally, can benefit from the opportunities Keele provides.”
