No increase in the number of Covid-19 deaths at Royal Stoke University and County Hospitals



There have been no coronavirus deaths at the Royal Stoke University and County Hospitals within the last 24 hours.

Latest data released by Public Health England shows there have been 335 deaths at Royal Stoke University Hospital in Hartshill and Stafford’s County Hospital.

The number remains the same as yesterday.

Six people have lost their lives at the North Staffordshire Combined Trust – which includes the Harplands Hospital.

And at the Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust – which operates Haywood Hospital, Cheadle Community Hospital, Leek Moorlands Hospital, Bradwell Community Hospital and others – the figure remains the same as yesterday with 11 deaths.

At the Mid Cheshire NHS Foundation Trust – which includes Crewe’s Leighton Hospital – 204 people have now died having been tested positive for coronavirus, an increase of two.

At the East Cheshire NHS Foundation Trust – which looks after Congleton War Memorial Hospital and Macclesfield District General Hospital – the number of deaths has remained the same since yesterday with 131 deaths.

The total number of deaths in the UK now stands at 42,647.
